Bank or Broker?

If you go directly to a bank for a mortgage you will get one set of rates and one set of criteria. Some people choose this process because they don’t know any other way.

If you go to a mortgage broker (advisor) you should have access to many lenders, a variety of rates and criteria that makes it much easier to ensure that you’re getting the best deal for your circumstances.

Also, a mortgage broker will do most of the work for you, that you’d have to do yourself if you went directly to a bank.

A mortgage advisor not only has access to many lenders, but often exclusive rates that are not available on the high street.

By going through a mortgage advisor, you also have someone who can help you by explaining the property buying process, remove the jargon for you, and generally make the entire experience more pleasant.

Martin Mortgage Services are located in Glasgow City Centre, we have access to a comprehensive panel of mortgage lenders, and we do not charge a fee.

We will help you get organised so you can buy the home you want, and make sure you get the best and the right mortgage deal for you.
